The funeral for Mrs. Beatrice Murks Davis, of Florence, will be Friday, Dec. 30, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Elkins Funeral Home chapel, Florence, with the Rev. Henry Melton officiating. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Elkins Funeral Home is assisting the family.Mrs. Davis, 81, went home to the Lord on Tuesday, Dec. 27. She was born to Jeff and Della Murks on Aug. 3, 1925, in Earl, Ark. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Charlie Erwin and the Rev. Tommie Davis.Mrs. Davis is survived by sons, Charles Erwin and wife, Yumi, Gary Erwin and wife, Glenda; daughters, Mary Ivy, Joyce Eldridge, Martha Camberlagne, all of Florence, and Diane Middlebrooks and husband, Jeff, of Decatur; one sister, Helen Davis; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be grandsons, Bobby Erwin, Anthony Erwin, Derrick Holden, Billy Holden, Timothy McGravy and Ronnie McGravy.Honorary pallbearers will be Dusty Erwin, Dillon Erwin and Justin Erwin.
