PETERS, Barbara Margaret Passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital on September 3, 2009. Born in 1917 in Regina, Sask. At the tender age of ninety, Barbara moved to Montreal to be close to her son John and family. Predeceased by her husband James and son Jimmy, Barbara leaves to mourn her son John (Aletha Thompson), grandson Vaughn and grand-daughter Monica, plus many, many relatives and friends across Canada. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, September 8 at Kane & Fetterly Funeral Home, 5301 boul. Decarie, Montreal. In lieu of flowers, please forward donations in Barbara's name to Madonna House, 2888 Dafoe Road, RR2, Combermere, ON., K0J 1L0. A special service and cele-bration of her life will take place at Blessed Sacrament Church in Regina at noon on Saturday, September 12, 2009. A reception will follow at the Hotel Saskatchewan.
