Barbara Kelley King Nelson, 60, of 16 Tomassee Ave., passed away Saturday, December 21, 2002, after several years of declining health. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late R.C. and Emma Lee Kelley. She was predeceased by a brother, Ralph L. Kelley. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Jerry F. King, and her second husband, Robert D. Nelson. Surviving are her daughters, J. Kelley King of Greenville and D. Candace Richardson of Taylors; sons, Don P. King of Piedmont and Barry S. Welborn of Greenville; and four grandchildren, Katie, Dalton, Maggie and Karli. She is also survived by her sister, Sandra K. Berardinelli of Greenville; her sister-in-law, Judy Kelley of Supply, N.C., and her favorite uncle, Ralph Kelley of Greenville. Visitation is Saturday, December 28 at 1 p.m. at The Markley Chapel at Christ Episcopal Church with a memorial service following at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to hospice or to a children's charity of your choice.
