June 13, 2006 Barbara J. Brown, 50, of Hastings, died Tuesday, June 13, 2006, at her home. Born in Syracuse, she had lived in Hastings since 1984. She was a graduate of P.V. Moore High School, Central Square, had been a clerk at the Cash & Carry, Central Square, and worked for the Central Square School District. Barbara was a member of New Life Church in West Monroe. Surviving are her husband, Gary; a daughter, April (Rick Jr.) Hobson; a son, Gary of Hastings; and her parents, Daniel and Mary Mathews of Central Square. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 2006, at New Life Church, Rt. 49, West Monroe, with burial in West Monroe Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the church.
