Barbara Elizabeth Bishop WELLFORD, SC--Barbara Elizabeth Bishop, 75, of 1555 Inman Road, Wellford, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at her home. She was born in Floyd County, KY on November 22, 1938, a daughter of the late Roberta Ellen Pack Elliott and Harrison Wesley Elliott. She was a homemaker and was a member of Dependent Baptist Church in Inman. She is survived by a son; Robbie Bishop and his wife Lois of Spartanburg, a daughter; Elizabeth Ellen Hogue and her husband Dan of Wellford, two sisters; Carolyn Edwards and husband Horace and Judy Bell and husband Michael of Inman, a brother; Michael Elliott and wife Iris of Woodruff, a special friend and caregiver; Kathy Hall, grandchildren; Ricky Bledsoe, Laura Niehl, Mandy Bishop, Casey Gilbert, Joshua Eubanks, Jennifer Franklin; twelve great grandchildren; one great great grandchild, and her former husband; Charles Howard Bishop of Chesnee. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a grandson, Jason Hogue. The family is at the home and will receive friends 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 9, 2014 at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, January 10, 2014 at Seawright Funeral Chapel with Rev. Joe Geddes and Rev. Keith Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
