ST. JEAN, Aurèle Albert – Peacefully passed away on September 27, 2011, at the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell Site in his 80th year. Aurèle was the original founder of Aurèle St. Jean Plumbing and Heating. Beloved husband of Aline St. Jean (Doré Marchand). Dear father of Diane Godard (Larry), Monique Summers (Ian), Guy St. Jean (Charlie), loved and respected by two step-children Louise Burnie, Robert (Bob) Marchand (Denise). Proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren, Timothy St. Jean, Sasha St. Jean, Alain Godard (Tanya) Yvon Godard (Tamara), Chantal Thomas (Joel), Shauna Campeau (Jeremy), Patric Parker (Crystal), Erin Alcaide (Vincent), Shannon Snelgrove (Mark), Allison Bélanger (Denis). Aurèle also took great pride in having 17 great-grandchildren, one sister Alice Cadieux, many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, son-in-law and friend Rod Parker and dear friends. Predeceased by his first wife Henriette Carrière and son Claude, his parents, Raoul St. Jean and Laurette Bourbonnais, two brothers Marcel and Roméo and two sisters Huguette and Jeannine. Resting at Lahaie and Sullivan, Cornwall Funeral Home, West Branch, 20 Seventh St. West (613-932-8482) from 2 pm Friday. Funeral Saturday October 1, 2011 for Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis de Sales Church at 11 am. The family will be in attendance on Friday from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm and from 9 am until the time of service on Saturday.
