Audrey "Pat" Campbell 1926-2013 The death of Pat Campbell (1926-2013) of Woodbury Place – Apt. 445 – 25 McKnight St., Fredericton, occurred on Thursday morning, November 7th at the Oromocto Public Hospital following an extended illness. Born in Sackville, N.B., as the only daughter of the late J. Irving Anderson and Jean Marie (Carter) Anderson. Survived by her husband R.E. (Ron) Campbell (63 years of marriage); one son, Eric Campbell (Janice) of Fredericton, N.B. and one daughter, Carol Jean Williamson (Dene) of Stratford, P.E.I.; two grandsons, Sean Campbell of Fredericton and C.F. Scott Williamson (Julie); one great- granddaughter Elle of Sylvan Lake, B.C. Also survived by brothers-in-law Larry Campbell of Charlottetown, P.E.I. and Keith Campbell of Saint John, N.B.; nephews, Richard Campbell (Jacinta), Scott Campbell (Beverley), Brent Campbell (Amber), Craig Campbell and niece, Jennie Campbell, all of Charlottetown P.E.I. Pat was previously deceased by her parents and by a baby son (1952) William Irving Campbell as well as a special family friend, Heather MacInnis (fiancée of her grandson Sean Campbell) who passed away on 10 April, 2013 after two surgeries for cystic fibrosis. Pat attended the Sackville, N.B. school system and graduated from Mount Allison Academy in 1948 and spent her entire married life as a wife; mother; grandmother and great grandmother and was a devoted friend of many people. She had several interests and especially enjoyed music and dance. She will be loved and remembered for her joyful and fun loving spirit; her kindness and friendliness to all others plus her smile, laughter and love of life. During their 63 years of marriage, Pat and Ron Campbell resided in Saint John, N.B., (1951-1953); Needham Street, Fredericton, N.B. (1953-1956); Shamrock Terrace, Fredericton, N.B. (1956-1976); Kelly Creek, York Co. (1976-1987); Spring Water Place, New Maryland, N.B. (1987-2001); and in an apartment complex on the north side of Fredericton (2001-2013). Visitation will take place at McAdam’s Funeral Home, 160 York Street, Fredericton, N.B., from 1-2 pm on Monday, prior to the service on Monday, 11 November, 2013 at 2:00 pm in the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel with refreshments and a reception to follow. A private interment will be held at a later date in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Fredericton, N.B. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
