Annie J. WilliamsAnnie Jo Williams was born September 23, 1943 to the late Joe and Nannie Thorne. She was a member of Gaston Chapel Primitive Baptist Church and a retiree of Deshler High School.She is survived by her daughter Melissa Williams, Sheffield; three grandchildren, Brittney Williams, Birmingham, Jessica Williams, Tulsa, Oklahoma and Roger (Briana) Williams, Birmingham; two sisters, Nora Williams, Sheffield, and Nellie Eggleston, Florence; four brothers, Joe L. (Pearl) Williams, Muscle Shoals; Jimmy (Sharon) Williams, Florence; Fred (Rosette) Williams, Huntsville; Johnny Mac Williams, Sheffield; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 23, 2014, 6-8 p.m. at Thompson and Son Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 24, 2014, Gaston Chapel Primitive Baptist Church, Sheffield, Alabama.The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m.Burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield, Alabama.Public viewing will be Tuesday, September 23, 2014, 9 a.m.-8 p.m.In lieu flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Association, 104 South Poplar Street, Florence, AL.Thompson and Son Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, directing.
