Anne S. Penn Yan, NY Age 79 of formerly of Elmira and Endicott, NY died on Thursday, February 1, 2001 at The Homestead in Penn Yan. Friends may call on Monday (February 5) from 9 AM to 10 AM at the Townsend-Wood Funeral Chapel her funeral service will follow at 10 AM with the Rev. Philip Billotte, officiating. Burial will be at St. Michael's Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association - Rochester Chapter, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620. Mrs. Williams was born in Elmira on May 8, 1921 and was the daughter of John and Mary Speen. She was predeceased by her husband, Philip L. Williams, November 1, 1998. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas A. and Roberta A. Williams of Penn Yan, beloved grandchildren, Catherine, David (Lisa) and Kristin Williams; sister, Katherine Haverley of Elmira; brothers, Paul (Madeline) Bonyak and Charles (Irene) Speen of Elmira Heights; several nieces and nephews, including Marianne Haverley and Greg (Dawn) Haverley of Elmira.
