Anna Mae Andersonof Fort Collins, Colo.,Anna Mae Anderson, 77, of Fort Collins, Colo., passed away on June 27, 2005 at her home in Fort Collins. Anna Mae was born August 16, 1927 in Johnson City, N.Y. to William Walter and Eva Montana (Rader) Perry. She graduated from Central High School in Binghamton, N.Y. in 1946. She received her Bachelor's degree from Syracuse University in 1950. On July 23, 1955 Anna Mae married Theodore H. Anderson in Binghamton. Anna Mae was a homemaker whose life was raising her family and helping others. She was a loving mother and wife. Anna Mae was a Girl Scout leader in Pine Island, Minn. and in 1985 she was the President of the Austin Republican Woman's Club in Austin, Tex. She loved outdoor activities such as gardening, bicycling, canoeing, camping and cross-country skiing. Anna Mae is survived by her husband of nearly fifty years, Theodore Anderson, Fort Collins, Colo.; her sons, Theodore Anderson Jr., Radford, Va., Bill Anderson, Winter Park, Colo., Eric Anderson, Austin, Tex., Jim Anderson, Fort Collins, Colo.; one daughter, Karen Helms, Santa Rosa, Calif.; and her grandchildren, Theodore Anderson III and Scott Anderson, both of Winter Park, Colo., Sarah Anderson and Tyler Anderson, both of Elida, N.Mex. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother and her sister.A Memorial Service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at the Fort Collins Senior Center. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Girl Scouts of America in care of Allnutt Funeral Service, 650 W. Drake Road, Fort Collins, Colo. 80526.
