Angeline (D'Angelo) Morin, 91, died Jan. 10, 2009 at Bradley Memorial Hospital in Southington. She was born in New Britain and was the daughter of the late Bertha and Rosario D'Angelo. She was predeceased two months ago by her husband of 69 years, William S. Morin. She worked in the office at H.L Moore Pharmaceuticals and at Peter Paul's Electrical. She also worked as a nurse's aide at Bel-Air Convalescent Home. She was a member of the American Red Cross, where she completed the American National Red Cross Home Nursing course, "Care of the Sick and Injured." She worked on the Blood Mobile as a volunteer blood donor aide for 11 years, and volunteered as a nurse's aide for the American Red Cross at the Newington Veterans Hospital. She was a member of St. Ann's Church and Women's Guild of New Britain. She is survived by her devoted children, her daughter, Sharon DellaVecchia and her husband Robert of Plantsville and her son, William R. Morin and his wife Gladys of Southington. She leaves three grandchildren, Robert Morin and his wife Gretchen; Carla Schiavo and her husband Peter and Christopher Morin; two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, John, Salvatore, and Anthony D'Angelo and William Lauretti and a sister, Susan Salerno. Services were held Jan. 13, 2009 at New Britain Memorial Sagarino Funeral Home, New Britain. Burial was at St. Mary's Garden Mausoleum. Her family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at the Summit Healthcare Center for their loving care of their mother.
