Decatur<!--Decatur-->Funeral for Alma Kate Bowling Taylor, 67, of Decatur will be Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Curtis &amp; Sons Funeral Home in Childersburg, Ala., with two-hour visitation prior to the service. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery. Visitation will also be tonight from 6 to 8 at Shelton Funeral Home. Mrs. Taylor, who died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008, at her residence, was born July 9, 1941, in Sylacauga, Ala., to Marvin and Annie Lee Bowling. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband, the Rev. Jerry B. Taylor; one son, David Taylor of Decatur; granddaughter, Katherine McKenzie Taylor of Decatur; two sisters, Marie Bowling of Childersburg and Adelia Kaestner and husband, Don, of Sylacauga; one brother, John Bowling of Childersburg; and a host of nieces and nephews.
