BOCA RATON, Fla. - Aline (Cyr) Coury, 88, loving wife and mother, passed away peacefully July 17, 2005, while in Hospice by the Sea Home Care. Aline has been afflicted with Alzheimer's Disease for several years. She was born Aug. 6, 1916, in Clair, New Brunswick, daughter of Joseph and Azilda (Clavet) Cyr. Aline grew up in Edmunston, where she would later meet and marry Fred Coury from Fort Kent in 1940. Fred owned and operated Coury Oil Company until they moved to Miami Beach in 1965 but always loved to return to their camp in Eagle Lake whenever possible. Aline enjoyed her job at People's First National Bank in North Miami Beach, where she retired as assistant vice president in 1985. Fred passed away in 1983. She is survived by her three daughters, Mae Gerrish and her husband, William, of Presque Isle, Linda DuMont of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and Charlene Coury of Coconut Creek, Fla. Aline had five grandchildren, Bill Gerrish and wife, Sharon, of Presque Isle, David Gerrish and wife, Vicki, of Naples, Maine, Lee Gerrish and wife, Monica, also of Naples, Maine, George DuMont of Wilkes-Barre, Pa. and Cory DuMont and wife, Kellie, also of Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Aline also had six great-grandchildren, Brianna, Oliver, Christopher, Curtis, Salem and Hailee. Aline is survived by sisters, Juliette Nadeau of Fort Kent, Jacqueline Guerette and husband, Gerald, of Edmunston; and a brother, Lucien Cyr and wife, Corrine, also of Edmunston. Aline was predeceased by her brother, Romeo Cyr. Aline loved life and will be missed by all who knew her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2005, at the St. Louis Catholic Church in Fort Kent, with the Rev. Paul Labree officiating.
