BURKE Alice Margerison Burke, age 97, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Robert S. Burke, died Saturday, October 30, 2004, at Griffin Hospital in Derby. Mrs. Burke was born in Lawrence, Mass., on February 20, 1907, a daughter of the late Louis J. and Nora Shields Margerison and was a lifelong resident of Milford before moving to Beacon Falls in September. She was a secretary to the Designing Engineer for General Electric of Bridgeport for 15 years. Alice was a lifetime New York Yankee Fan. Mrs. Burke leaves three sons, Richard A. Burke of Naugatuck, Thomas J. Burke of Acton, Mass., Terrance Burke of Milford; a daughter Mary Anne Botticello of Beacon Falls; nine grandchildren; and nine great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Francis and E. Raymond Margerison. Funeral service from the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., on the Green, Milford, on Wednesday, November 3 at 9:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Michael's Church 25 Maple Ave., Beacon Falls. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Milford.
