WINTER HAVEN -- Mrs. Alice Davis of Winter Haven died of heart failure Friday (Sept. 13, 2002) at Marine Health Care of Winter Haven. She was 66.Born in Lamont on March 6, 1936, she came to Winter Haven from there in 1958. She was a dry cleaner presser. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church, where she was on the pastor's aide board and a member of Choir No. 2.Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, Clarence Davis; sons, Freddie Owens III, Rochester, N.Y.; daughter, Loretta Young, Winter Haven; sisters, Carrie Mae Evans, Minnie Boone, both of Auburndale, Lettie Mae Graham, Palm Coast, Idella Daniels, Lakeland; brothers, Joseph Hall Jr., Lakeland, Roosevelt Hall, Rochester; one grandchild.Services will be at 11 this morning at First Missionary Baptist Church. Charles A. Lewis Funeral Home in Winter Haven.
