Alex J. Millerof VestalAlex J. Miller, 82, died Friday, August 20, 2004, at the Willow Point Nursing Home. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Elizabeth and Joseph Miller; a brother, Joseph; sister, Mary McHale, and her husband, John. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Betty; sons, Joseph J. Miller, Apalachin, James S. Miller, Washington D.C., Richard A. and Nora Miller, Endicott; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Ceil Miller, Kingston, PA; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Anna and Frank Doyle, Alberta Miller, all of Pittston, PA; and two nieces, JoAnne McHale, Pittston, PA, and Carole McNamara, Hingham, MA.A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Vestal. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery. The family wishes to thank all those at Willow Point Nursing Home for Alex's excellent care and the love shown to him.
