Albert Walker, 83, of Brockton, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family September 22, 2014. Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, he was the son of the late Alexander and Christina (Black) Walker. He moved from Scotland to Hyde Park in 1964, before settling in Brockton in 1973. Albert worked for Damon Education for over 20 years. He was an avid Western movies and TV shows fan and enjoyed traveling and going on cruises. Albert was the beloved husband of Norma (Morrice) Walker for 60 years; loving father of Jacqueline Walker of Brockton and Rhona Dias and her husband Joseph of West Bridgewater; brother of the late Alexander and George Walker; and an uncle of several nieces and nephews. Following cremation, all are welcome to gather Friday at 6 p.m. for a 7 p.m. memorial service in Belcher Chapel at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St., Brockton. Private committal.
