Adrienne-Marie Lavoie, conjointe de Arthur Paul, mère de Arthur, Denise, Ernest, Leo et Louis, est décédée le 26 décembre 2004. Veuillez consulter son avis de décès ici:
Adrienne "Memere" Marie Paul (Lavoie) Peacefully, on December 26th, at St. Boniface Hospital, after a long and happy life, Mom has joined Dad in heaven. Mom was predeceased by her beloved husband, Arthur; her eldest son Louis; grandsons Bruce Paul and Michael Paul; great-grandson Michael Paul; son-in-law Denis LaRocque; her brothers Arthur, Alphonse, Alfred and Peter; her sisters Agnes, Germaine, Jeanne, Yvonne, Blanche, Alice and Laura. Mom is survived by her children Leo (Jessie), Ernest (Claire), Denise LaRocque, Arthur Jr. (Maryanne), Gerald (Betty), Albert (Erna), Denis (Eileen), Robert (Lynda), daughter-in-law Mary; 27 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren; her sister Marie Peterson of Sarnia and sister-in-law, Emma Lavoie of Vancouver. Mom was born in Abbéville, Manitoba, and lived most of her life in St. Boniface. She was a lifelong parishioner of the St. Boniface Cathedral and a member of the Filles D’Isabelle. Mom devoted her life to her children and grandchildren, but there was always room at her table for anyone who dropped in to sample her fantastic cooking and baking. The family would like to thank Homecare, Ann and Pierrette, who helped Mom at home, her friends at Chateau Guay and the staff of Ward E6 at St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion during her stay there. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren: Donald Paul, Stanley Paul, Karen Finlay, Jean Paul LaRocque, Kevin Paul, Brian Paul, Rob Paul, Kristopher Paul-Clark, Trevor Paul. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 30th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Boniface Cathedral, 190 Cathedrale, cremation to follow with interment at a later date.
