Zeddie McLoyd Perry 1946 - 2013 SPRINGFIELD - Zeddie McLoyd Perry was reunited with the Lord on Tuesday, August 13, 2013. Zeddie was born in Whiteville, NC on March 13, 1946 to the late Haywood McLoyd, Sr. and Pearlene (Godwin) McLoyd. Zeddie was a 1964 graduate of the High School of Commerce and a 1985 graduate of S.T.C.C. She worked for many years as an Executive Secretary at Westvaco and most recently as a Paraprofessional for the Springfield Public School Department. She was predeceased by her sister Francene Powell, brother Brice Akers, and former husband, Ward A. Perry. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Audra R. Perry, son Brett A. Perry, Sr. both of Springfield, five grandchildren, Ryan Perry (Rebecca), Zhane' Perry, Brett Perry, Jr., Roy Hines, III. all of Springfield, MA and Kailani Perry of Indianapolis, IN, one great-granddaughter, Jaelyn Perry of Springfield, MA. Four brothers, Haywood McLoyd, Sr. (Valerie) of Philadelphia, PA, James E. McLoyd (Michelle) of Millville, NJ, Donald Powell (Cami), Maui, Hawaii, and Raymond Akers, (Kindalay) of Springfield, MA. One sister, Bobbie A. Best (Leo) of Springfield, MA, and three sister in laws, India Akers and Janis Gatling of Springfield, MA and Ernestine Edmonds of Silver Spring, MD. Funeral Services for Zeddie will take place, Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Holy Trinity COGIC, 57 Bay Street, Springfield, MA. Calling hours from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM.
