SMITH Yvonne Jane Smith, age 60, of Bridgeport, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Thursday, September 22, 2005, at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport, with her loving children by her side. Born in Suffern, N.Y., on February 6, 1945, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Onufro) Moss and was a resident of Norwalk, residing in Bridgeport for the past 30 years, devoting herself to family and volunteer work. Yvonne was the wife of the late Richard Peter Smith. As a clinical hypnotherapist, she changed many lives for the better. One of the first P.A.C. presidents in Bridgeport working with the Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation and the Klein Memorial Auditorium, she touched many lives in the community. Survivors include her children (her angels), son, Gary James Smith; daughter, Yvonne Marie (Evy) Smith-Thieringer and Catherine Margaret Smith; son-in-law, James Thieringer; grand angels, Kayla Marie Smith and Tavis (TJ) Eagles Jr.; and family adoptive son, Craig Pacelli, who were all by her side and will miss her. All friends and acquaintances are welcome to join the family in saying good-bye to this special woman at funeral services Tuesday, September 27, 2005, at 9 a.m. (DIRECTLY) in St. Augustine Cathedral, 359 Washington Avenue, Bridgeport. Interment in the State Veteran's Cemetery, Middletown. Friends may call Monday, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Avenue, Bridgeport.
