A Celebration of Life for Wilma "Jean" Wilson, 77, Palm Coast, who died Tuesday, November 20, 2007, at Moultrie Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, will be held today (Friday) at 6 p.m. at Lohman Funeral Home, Palm Coast with Chaplain Harry Gillman officiating. Her family is inviting friends for visitation beginning at 5 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 6 p.m. Jean is survived by three sisters, Lois Moore, Palm Coast, Leona Jones, Smyrna, Tenn. & Dorothy Peters, Jacksonville, Fla.; four nephews, Jerry Moore, Palm Coast, Richard Peters, Jacksonville, Fla., Tommy Jones, Smyrna, Tenn., & Larry Jones, Seattle, Wash.; two nieces, Sandra McClendon, Jacksonville, Fla. & Cheryl May, St Augustine, Fla.; as well as many great-nieces and nephews. Jean was born June 3, 1930 in Beechgrove, Tennessee later relocating to Florida in 1987. She worked in Tennessee as a dietician for Methodist Publishing House for many years and never lost her love for cooking for family and friends. After her move to Florida, Jean worked as part of a traveling team for Woolco Corporation which opened new stores in various towns in the Southeast.
