A Celebration of Life for Wilma "Jean" Wilson, 77, Palm Coast, who died Tuesday, November 20, 2007, at Moultrie Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, will be held today (Friday) at 6 p.m. at Lohman Funeral Home, Palm Coast with Chaplain Harry Gillman officiating. Her family is inviting friends for visitation beginning at 5 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 6 p.m. Jean is survived by three sisters, Lois Moore, Palm Coast, Leona Jones, Smyrna, Tenn. & Dorothy Peters, Jacksonville, Fla.; four nephews, Jerry Moore, Palm Coast, Richard Peters, Jacksonville, Fla., Tommy Jones, Smyrna, Tenn., & Larry Jones, Seattle, Wash.; two nieces, Sandra McClendon, Jacksonville, Fla. & Cheryl May, St Augustine, Fla.; as well as many great-nieces and nephews. Jean was born June 3, 1930 in Beechgrove, Tennessee later relocating to Florida in 1987. She worked in Tennessee as a dietician for Methodist Publishing House for many years and never lost her love for cooking for family and friends. After her move to Florida, Jean worked as part of a traveling team for Woolco Corporation which opened new stores in various towns in the Southeast. Jean was very much loved by her family and friends and will be missed but never forgotten. Condolences may be shared with the family at the family guest book www.lohmanfuneralhomes.com.
