A native of Yancey County, she was a daughter of the late Monroe and Martha McIntosh King and the wife of Harold L. Harris who died in 2002. She was also preceded in death by a son, Tommy Harris, 4 sisters and 3 brothers. Wilma was a member of Bolens Creek Baptist Church for 66 years and a retired employee of the telephone company in Burnsville.Surviving are a daughter, Christine Howell and husband, Niles; a granddaughter, Amanda Watts and husband, Anthony; a grandson, Niles David Howell and wife, Amanda; 2 great-grandsons, Isaiah and Max Watts; 3 great- granddaughters, Abi Watts, Carly Howell and Alexis Cooper all of Burnsville.Funeral service will be held at 8 PM Friday in the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home. Dr. Chris Morgan will officiate. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Saturday in the Carroway Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.Memorials may be made to Bolens Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, c/o Jean Buchanan, 260 Windom Cove Road, Burnsville, NC 28714, Gideons International, P.O.
