Mrs. Willie Mae Williams, 75, of 4 Catalina Drive, went to be with the Lord Monday, Dec. 9, 2002, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Spartanburg County,she was the daughter of the late Robert Fulton and Grace Stevenson Pitman, and was the wife of the late Paul Thomas Williams. She was retired from Piedmont Shirt Co. as a seamstress and was a member of Rutherford Road Baptist Church. She is survived by three children; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas T. "Ted" and Amy Williams, of Greenville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Grace and David Ballew, of Taylors, and Brenda and Terry Ellers, of Atlanta, Ga.; eight grandchildren, David Ballew Jr., Bryan Jewell, Dawn Parker, Brandy Thompson, T.J. Williams, Nikki, Jimmy and Alex Williams; six great-grandchildren, Kiristia , Justin, David E. Ballew, Savannah Burns, Candace Lowe and Bailey Parker; three brothers and sisters-in laws, Maynard Pitman of Taylors, R.F. and Harriett, of Travelers Rest, and Ken and Charlotte Pitman, of Greer; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Evelyn and Rayford Crumley, of Taylors, Ellen and Charles Finley, of Greenville, Margaret Avis and Bill Jones, of Fort Worth , Texas; a very special sister, Norma; and a special son-in-law, Jimmy Phillips; several nieces and nephews; one special niece, Kim Kirby, of Taylors; and a special sister, Norma, and husband Jimmy Phillps, of Taylors. One brother, Doyle Pitman; and two sisters, Dot Copeland and Juanita Mease, predeceased her. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Rutherford Road Baptist Church Building Fund (for the ramp), 9 Scenic Drive, Greenville, SC 29605. The family will receive friends tonight, from 7 to 9, at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, at 11 a.m., at Rutherford Road Baptist Church, with burial at Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family is at 310 Rivercrest Drive, Taylors.
