Willie Mae Jordan PERRY - Willie Mae Jordan, 88, a superintendent for Independent Life Insurance Co., died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2003. The service will be at 1 p.m. EST Friday at Joe P. Burns Funeral Home chapel in Perry (850-584-4149), with burial at Pisgah Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. EST today at the funeral home.She was a native of Newton, Ala., and had lived in Perry since 1935. She was a Baptist and attended Burton Baptist Church, which is now Crosspoint Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Hightower (and husband Dean) of Perry; a stepdaughter, Cordelia "Corky" Jordan of Michigan; nine grandchildren, Jon Alan Guilford of Orlando, Lynn Ernst of Shephersville, Ky., and Phyllis Crissman and Bill Crissman, both of Atlanta, and Ed Sauls, Diane Grambling and Blake Sauls, all of Perry, Susan Nix of Butler, Ala., and Stephanie Rainey of Atlanta; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Richard Jordan; her husband, Ted R. Guilford Sr.; a son, Ted R. Guilford Jr.; a daughter, Frances Crissman; and a grandson, Michael Sauls.
