Willie L. "Pop" Jackson Willie Lewis "Pop" Jackson, 80, who retired as an employee of the city of Tallahassee, died Friday, Dec. 31, 2004. The service will be at 11 a.m. EST Saturday at Greater St. Mark Primitive Baptist Church, with burial at the church cemetery. The Right Rev. Chris A. Burney will officiate. Viewing will be from 3 to 8 p.m. EST Friday at Richardson's Family Funeral Care (850-576-4144).The funeral cortege will assemble at 10:15 a.m. EST at 5054 Pryor Court. He was a native of Macon, Ga., and a member of the Greater St. Mark Primitive Baptist Church in Tallahassee. He is survived by a son, James Louis Jackson Sr. (and wife Fannie); an adopted son, Jerome Jackson; a stepson, Billy Scarborouch (and wife Mary); an adopted daughter, Dianne Jackson Houston; a brother, Jerry Jackson; two sisters, Ethel Mae Roster and Cora Lee Austin; an aunt, Caldonia Brooks; a sister-in-law, Lorine Jackson; a goddaughter, Theresa Jackson; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a very devoted friend, Anthynett Dupree Gilliam; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
