EllabellMrs. Willie Inez Palmer Lee, 78, passed away Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, in Screven County at the home of her son. Mrs. Lee was an avid gardener and a good cook. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus D. and Emma Lee James Palmer; son, Victor Adkins; brother, Manuel Palmer; and sister, Gladys Henderson.She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Jakie William and Beverly Lee of Sylvania; two daughters and son-in-law, Peggy and Audrey Shuman of Pembroke and Barbara Burgess of Ellabell; sister, Becky Cook; five grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Lee, Harley Lee, Sheila Greenwood, Shawn Greenwood and Shane Greenwood; and four great-grandchildren.The funeral is at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Flanders Morrison Funeral Home Chapel in Pembroke with Pastor Stan Tyson officiating. Interment will follow in Lower Black Creek Cemetery. Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
