Willie Clarence Johnson, 75, Palmetto, died June 29, 2005. He was born in Aug. 29, 1929, in Byron, Ga., and moved to Palmetto from Byron. Survivors include daughters Kasandra Palmer of Detroit, Sharonne Kerr of Pembroke Pines and Subretta Johnson of Bradenton; a son, Tommy Johnson of Palmetto; sisters Annie Rose Jenkins and Janie Lee Johnson, both of Ridgeley, Md., and evangelist Shirley Blackwell of Easton, Md.; brothers Alfred of Lincoln, Delaware, Joe L. of Orlando, Henry of Bridgeville, Del., Thomas F. of Federalsburg, Md., and Earl of Seaford, Del.; and 12 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Westside Funeral Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John First Baptist Institutional Church, 1108 29th St. E., Palmetto. Burial will be at Skyway Memorial Gardens, Palmetto. Westside Funeral Home is in charge.
