-> Mrs. Willie A. Corbett Jones, 84, peacefully entered eternal rest at her home on Thursday, December 29, 2005. A native of Vidalia, Georgia she was the daughter of John and Mary Corbett. She attended the public schools of Toombs County. In 1944, she was joined in marriage to Louis Jones, who preceded her in death in 1999. Two children, Carl and Alfreda, also preceded her in death. She was a member of Thankful Missionary Baptist Church where she sang in the choir until she became disabled. She is survived by two sons, Charles (Dorothy) Jones of Detroit, MI and Randy (Sheila) Jones of Savannah, GA; four daughters, Betty J. Burnett, Shirley J. (Nathaniel) Brown, Irene J. (Hennon) Wilmont and Mary J. (Michael) Graham all of Savannah, GA; a brother, Dock (Lessie) Corbett of Vidalia, GA; two sisters, Mary L. Pratt of Sickerville, NJ and Jeanette Roundtree of Long Beach, CA; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
