VAN HORN William (Bill), died in Denver, Colorado on September 21, 2008, where he had lived with his family since 1965. He was born in Passaic on July 10, 1929 and attended public schools in Lodi and Passaic, where he graduated from high school in 1947. Bill was a steamfitter in Passaic Local 765 of the A.F. of L.-C.I.O. He worked with his father and brother, who were both named Kelly. In 1952, he joined the United States Marine Corps to fight in the Korean War. After his honorable discharge, he resumed his career as a steamfitter, both in New Jersey and Colorado.Surviving Bill are his daughters, Terry and Melanie and six grandchildren.
