-->William "Bill" Todd SPARTANBURG, SC-- William Edward Todd, 71, of 809 Southern Magnolia Court, died Sunday, September 14, 2008 at his home. Bill was a native of Asheville, NC and a son of the late David O. Todd and Margaret Elizabeth Johnston Todd. He was a founding partner of Commercial Air Conditioning Service, Inc. in Greenville from which he retired. Bill was widely known in commercial and industrial HVAC throughout the southeast. A Mason, he was also a member of the Hejaz Shriners in Mauldin. He is survived by his loving family, wife, Helen L. Todd, of the home; son, Stanley Edward Todd and wife Mary B. Todd of Spartanburg; brothers, David Todd and Donald Todd; sisters, Mary Buckner, Nancy Vinson, Carolyn Young and Judy Steffey; grandsons, Jason D. Wyatt and wife, Carrie, William R. Todd, Samuel E. Todd and Carl Alex Todd; and great-grandchildren, Ciara and Jacob Wyatt. He was preceded in death by his step-son, Darrell R. Wyatt. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 18, 2008 from the chapel of The Mackey Mortuary with Rev. Monty King officiating. Interment to follow at Wood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 17, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the mortuary.
