William-Robert Casey, conjoint de Michele Casey, fils de Joseph et Norah, père de Edmonton, Richard, Tx, Austin et Julia, est décédé à l'âge de 56 ans.
CASEY, William Robert Age 56, died suddenly August 26th. Bill was born in Musquodoboit Harbour to Norah "Betty " (Mills) and Joseph "Barclay " Casey. Although much of Bill's adult life was spent far from his birth family, he always kept in touch and will be greatly missed by those he leaves behind. He always called his mother on his birthday so she could thank him for coming into her life. He leaves behind his children, Julia (Greg) Bullard, Austin, TX; Richard Casey , Edmonton, AB; and his exwife and loving friend, Michele, St. Peter's, NS. Bill is survived by his mother, Betty; sisters, Deanna (Frank) Buchanan, Porters Lake, NS, Pat (Harold) Marshall, Stirling, ON, Judy (Bert) Myatt, Gaetz Brook, NS, Marilyn (Arthur) Keller, West Chezzetcook, NS, Susan Casey (Wayne Hunt), Bridgewater, NS and Wendy MacNeil, Ottawa, ON; and brother, Michael, Halifax, NS. Bill was predeceased by his father, Barclay. Bill was known to his childhood friends as Finnigan, on the Westcoast as Finny, but only his mother and sisters could call him Billy. His second love, after his family, was fishing. He started his own fishing charter, "Fish Again's " in 1990 and operated every summer through 1996. Although he loved fighting the whales for salmon off Possession Point in Sooke, he was most happy in his waders fighting steelhead on the Little Quinsom River. When he wasn't fishing, he could be found riding his Kawasakis, of which he had many throughout his life, tending the garden, spending hours indoors building and playing with his computers, and arguing with the many people who loved him. We will all remember the distinctive sound of his laugh. On September 4th, from coast to coast, we will be celebrating Bill's life. The Casey Family invite friends to join them at Bert and Judy Myatt's in Gaetz, Nova Scotia between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm to share stories. Valerie and Ernie Lambert will host a celebration in Bowser, British Columbia starting at 2:00 pm. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.mccallbros.com 601994
