William Bruce Pitts, 40, of 306 South Lewis St., died Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.Born in Pickens County, he was the son of Brucie Pitts of Pickens and the late Sylvester Eugene Pitts. He was a technician at Ellijean Plant, Easley, was a member and Deacon of Cold Spring Baptist Church, the Brotherhood Club and the choir.Survivors, besides his mother, are his wife, Lavelle J. Pitts of the home; a son, William Brandon Pitts of the home; a daughter, Latrice Shanette Pitts of the home; a brother, Eugene Pitts of Easley; and sisters, Diane Washington of Dacusville and Mary Jo Acker of Winston-Salem, N.C.Services will be Sunday at 3 p.m. at Cold Spring Baptist Church, by the Rev. James W. Hallums and Ministers Elijah and Tolessa Scott. Burial will be in the church cemetery. No wake is planned. The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m.The family is at 521 W.
