PETERS _William Howard Peters passed away at Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton, September 3, 2003 at the age of 64. William was born May 10, 1939 near Aberdeen, SK. He is survived by his daughter, Jane; son, Reginald; first wife, Barb; sisters, Mary Gustafson, Agatha Fairbrother (Les), Helen Huniak; and brother, John. He was predeceased by his parents, Johan and Katherina Peters; brother, H. Harvey Peters (wife, Marion); brother-in-law, Carmen Gustafson; brother-in-law, Len Huniak. William came to Saskatoon at the age of four years, spent his school years at Wilson School and City Park Collegiate. He served his apprenticeship with M.E. Cook Mechanical and many years with UMA/Spantec Engineering as an Engineering Assistant. Lately he was with Stanley Eng. Edmonton as Project Manager for the construction of new buildings at the University of Edmonton. William was a dedicated person in his chosen work and gave it full value. He was also a Wildlife Federation Member and a Firearms Instructor in that club. A skillful hunter and fisherman, a loving father, husband, brother and a good friend to many. A Memorial Service will be held at Mayfair United Church, Wednesday, September 10, 2003 at 4:00 p.m. officiating will be the Rev. David Moors. Interment to be decided.
