PETERS, William GordonWilliam, known as Bill to his family and friends, was born September 20, in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan. He passed away peacefully on March 6, at Salem Manor in Leduc.Bill was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Mourning his passing are his loving wife, Dora; his children Harlan, Connie (Mike), Ken (Iris); his grandchildren Duane, Bradley (Danielle), and Colin. He also leaves his two great-grandchildren, Faith and Paige; and his sisters Ruth, and Lillian (Duane); his brothers-in-law Harry Brucks and sisters- in-law Betty Brown and Marilyn Peter, as well as a host of relatives and friends.Bill's parents Julius and Louise Peter, his first wife Muriel, sisters Edna Margesson, Violet Brucks and brother Donald Peter predeceased him.A Memorial Service will be held for Bill on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at St. David's United Church, 4614 - 48 Street Leduc, AB.
