William-P. -Morrissette Sr, né en 1940, conjoint de Anna Sr, fils de Joseph et Fleurette, père de William P, Jr et Cheryl, est décédé le 5 janvier 2011.
William P. Morrissette Sr. September 29, 1940 - January 5, 2011 Willimantic - William P. Morrissette, Sr., 70, of 595 Valley St. and formerly of Lebanon, died early Wednesday morning at Windham Hospital. He was born in Norwich on September 29, 1940 the son of the late Joseph and Fleurette (Henri) Morrissette. Bill was a 1957 graduate from the Norwich Free Academy and also served in the United States Navy. He was employed for 34 years at Electric Boat in Groton retiring as a Planning Supervisor in 1993. He was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Lebanon. Bill was a member of the Fin Fur & Feather Club in Chaplin, was a former member of the Electric Boat Management Club serving as Vice President and was an avid fly fisherman and skeet shooter. On August 16, 1958 he married Anna (Casey) Morrissette at St. Peter & Paul Church in Norwich who survives him. Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, William P. Morrissette, Jr. of Cheshire and Daniel J. Morrissette of Middletown; two daughters, Cheryl Cove and her husband Stuart of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Lisa Morrissette of Norwich. His grandchildren, Brian and Rachel Bombria, Joshua Forest and Aaron and Alexander Cove; one brother, Michael Morrissette of Scotland; one sister, Christine Chamberlin of Oakdale and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother Thomas Morrissette. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, January 14th at 10:00 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Lebanon meeting directly at church. Burial of cremains will follow in New Lebanon Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Guillot Funeral Home, 75 South B. St., Taftville is in charge of arrangements.
