Mr. William N. Strong - Savannah -Mr. William N. Strong passed away at home on Friday, April 7, 2006. The Kingstree, SC native lived in Savannah, GA for many years. He retired from the U.S. Air Force. He traveled around the world and throughout the United States. Everyone that knew him loved him, because of his love for mankind. He always had a smile and he could talk for hours on any subject. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Carrie Strong, two wives, Florine Strong and Hester Belle Strong, three brothers, Ernest Tisdale, James Tisdale and Lassiter Tisdale. He leaves to cherish his memories one son, two stepdaughters, Carolyn Gantt and her husband, Harold T. Gant, Helen Richardson; one brother, Johnny Strong; devoted cousin, Dorothy Kennedy; many nieces and nephews, Mickie Barnes, Margo Harris, Gwendolyn Harris-Johnson, Ann Tisdale, Debora Tisdale, Diane Tisdale, Jocelyn Tisdale, Pat Tisdale, Yvonne Tisdale, Keith Tisdale, James Sanders, Anthony Tisdale, Ernest Tisdale, Ervin Tisdale, Gary Tisdale, James Tisdale, Michael Tisdale, Randell Tisdale, Richard Tisdale and Terrace Tisdale, other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 123, 2006 at St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church, East Broad Street. Father Desmond C. Ohankwere, (M.S.P.) pastor.
