WILLIAM LEE CARTER 77, of Lake Worth passed away November 15, 2003. A graduate of Lake Worth High School, class of 1944, he played on the football team, and coached Lake Worth youth baseball. An avid sportsman, he was a Veteran who served in the US Navy in WWII, owned and operated Lee Carter Construction, was a life member of the Carpenter's Local 130 as well as the Golden Eagles of NRA. Surviving family members include his wife, Elizabeth; sons, Kevin Ray, and Michael A. Carter; daughter, Mary Ann (Wayne) Watford; sister, Mary L. (Edmund) Tingler; grandchildren, Joseph, Cheresa, Heather, Melissa, Michelle, and Katie; great grandchild, Leilanie; nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Bill, sister Catherine McMillan, and parents. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. on Tuesday, November 18, 2003 at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held there on Wednesday, November 19, 2003 at 12:00 PM. With Interment following in LAKE WORTH MEMORY GARDENS . Dorsey- E.
