William J. Lyons of Cornwall, NY died of natural causes on February 24, 2009. He was born on April 12, 1936 in Mt. Vernon NY to William J. and Lucy Anastasio Lyons. He attended Our lady of Mercy Elementary school and graduated from Archbishop Stepinac High School. In 1958, he married Angela Macri at Corpus Christi Church , Port Chester, NY. Bill was involved in many activities with Corpus Christi School Guild where his children attended school. He was an avid Giants fan and attended many home games with his wife and sons. Bill worked in the construction industry as a batch operator for Byram Concrete for over 25 yrs and retired in 2000. He is survived by his loving wife Angela, his sons William J.III and wife Cynthia - Cornwall NY, daughter Linda M. Conners and husband Kevin - Downingtown PA, son; Timothy J. and wife Carrie - Spring TX, Grandchildren : Jessica , Jacqueline, William Lyons, Erin, Cassidy, Kevin ,and Ryan Conners, and Madysen and Emily Lyons. Visitation will be private. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Friday, February 27, 2009 at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church-Cornwall-On-Hudson NY. Entombment will be in Greenwich CT.
