April 6, 2012 William Bill Joseph Gaudet, 67, of Naples, Florida and Harwich, Massachusetts, passed away suddenly in his Florida home on April 6, 2012. Bill was born on March 4, 1945, in New Rochelle, NY, to Albert and Catherine (Ryer) Gaudet. He lived most of his life prior to 2005 in upstate New York, and had been splitting his time since between Naples and Cape Cod. Bill graduated from Le Moyne College and received his MBA from Syracuse University. He had a long and successful career as a systems engineer with IBM, took an early retirement to work in sales for Eastern Microwave, Inc. and Verizon, Inc., and then went into private work as a consultant. Bill retired in January of this year, and at that point began volunteer work at the Golisano Children's Museum of Naples. Bill will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 43 years, Anne (Kehoe); daughter, Denise and son-in-law, David Kopchick of Shelton, CT and their children, Meghan, Andrew, and Catherine; son, Brian and daughter-in-law, Fran Gaudet of Unity, ME and their children, Max, Travis, and Eliza; and son, Christopher Gaudet and daughter-in-law, MarYam Hamedani of Redwood City, CA; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Marcia Gaudet; Richard and Dorothy Gaudet; and A. Peter and Donna Gaudet, all from New York; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends whom he loved very deeply.
