LOWELL -- William Hyatt, a veteran of two wars and a member of the Nichol's Program at Tewksbury Hospital for more than 33 years, died Sunday, July 2, at the Lowell General Hospital after a brief illness. He was 81.He was born in Tewksbury, Feb. 4, 1925, a son of the late Herbert and Abigail (Willett) Hyatt.He lived in Greater Lowell throughout his life.He was a resident of the Horne Home in Lowell for the past three years. He had previously been in residence in the Nichol's Program at Tewksbury Hospital for more than 33 years.Mr. Hyatt served in the U.S. Army from 1943 until 1958, and was a veteran of both World War II and the Korean War.He leaves many friends throughout Greater Lowell.
