William Henry Freeman, 63, Sarasota, died April 20, 2006. He was born Oct. 22, 1942, in Joliet, Ill., and was an engineer with Sun Hydraulics Inc. of Sarasota and was a member of the Corvette Club of Columbia, S.C., and the British Car Club. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Sandra M. (McNiff); a daughter, Julie Beckstein; of Lexington, S.C.; a brother, Michael of Joliet, Ill; and three grandsons. Services will be in Lexington, where Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, is in charge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, P.O. Box 448, Houston, TX 72210- 4486.
