HAMILTON, WILLIAM DONALD, 87, of Louisville, died Tuesday at Summerfield Manor Health and Rehab Center. He was a retired employee of the old Schenley Distilleries, with 40 years of service, and a member of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Verena Elizabeth Hamilton; a son, Joe; grandchildren, Donnie Jr. and Nicole; and a brother, Joseph. He is survived by his children, Leo Bush, Dr. Earl Bush, Donald Hamilton, Janice Saultzman, Michael Hamilton, Mary Rambo, Richard Hamilton and Catherine Vance; brothers, William and Richard Hamilton; sisters, Norma Steinbaugh and Mary Rose Maynard; 30 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchil-dren. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon Friday at his church, 10801 Deering Rd., with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Hospice & Palliative Care of Louisville.
