UNION SPRINGS - William D. Heath, "Bill," 60, of Union Springs, passed away Sunday (July 8, 2012) at Auburn Community Hospital following an extended illness.Visiting hours will be Thursday, (July 12) from 6 to 8 p.m. at Langham Funeral Home, Auburn. A memorial services is not scheduled at this time.In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Bill may be made to the Warren Salem Town Lodge #147, 155 Cayuga St., Union Springs, N.Y. 13160 or to the American Legion, Post 1107, 8 Schobey St., Union Springs.Born in Auburn, he was the son of Donald and Sally Stewart Heath and was a graduate of Cayuga Community College. Bill was employed by Gillespie Chevrolet in Union Springs where he was in sales. He was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons of N.Y., Warren Salem Town Lodge # 147 and enjoyed fishing and deer hunting. Bill was also an avid Giants football fan.He is survived by his loving parents, Donald and Sally Heath; a son, Earl Heath of Union Springs; and by a daughter Genevieve Heath of Seneca Falls. Also surviving are his three sisters, Marsha (John) Reed of Bouckville, N.Y., Connie (Charlie) Swenson of Seneca Falls and Linda (Doug) Jones of Seneca Falls; a grandson, Brendon Heath, whom he adored, and by several nieces and nephews.
