William "Dub" Carter, 83, husband of Weder Aldean Hammonds Carter, died Saturday, February 14, 2015.A native of Danielsville, he was the son of the late Jackson H. and Ester Scarborough Carter. He retired from Madison County High School as a custodian. Survivors in addition to his wife include his children: Barbara Phillips, Elco Carter, Donald Carter, Dennis Carter and Kenneth Carter, brother, Eugene Carter, thirteen grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.Mr. Carter will lie in state at the funeral home Monday, February 16 from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM.Services will be private.Lord & Stephens Danielsville is in charge of arrangements. www.lordandstephens.com
