JORDAN, WILLIAM C., 83, of Bowling Green, formerly of Louisville, died on Monday, May 26, 2008. He was a retired maintenance technician for General Electric Co., a navy veteran of World War II and a member of VFW Post #1181 of Louisville. Survivors include his daughters, Helen Yvonne Meeks (Bill), of Louisville, Jessica "Jay" Brooks (Ronnie), of Mammoth Cave, Carla Cambron (Joe), of Louisville, Wendelin "Wendy" Ruey, of Louisville and Kimberly Jo Ray (Garry), of Sweeden; sons, Walter "Buster" Jordan (Maria), of Bowling Green, James E. "Eddie" Jordan (Tammy), of Hendersonville, TN and Kevin Jordan (Melinda), of Brownsville; sister, Ruby "Dugan" Bolton, of Bowling Green; and caregiver, Jim Kinder, of Bowling Green; 23 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and several great and great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held noon Saturday at Hardy Valley Funeral Home, with burial in Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
