Pipe CovererMULBERRY -- Mr. William V. "Bud" Arrington of Mulberry died of lung failure Sunday (Nov. 23, 2003) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was 64.Born in Mount Hope, W.Va., on Nov. 6, 1939, he came to Mulberry from Norwich, Conn., in 1990. He was a pipe coverer for General Dynamics Electric Boat Co. in Groton, Conn. He was an Army veteran. He was a member of First Baptist Church at the Mall.Mr. Arrington is survived by his wife, Janet Arrington; sons, Gary Blaine Arrington, Dayville, Conn., and James Roy Arrington, Moosup, Conn.; daughters, Karen Strobel, Spotsy, Va., and Tammy Rose Ragsdale, Dallas, Ga.; brother, Herbert Blaine Arrington, Baltimore, Md.; sister, Shirley Ann Arsenian, Lakeland; and 10 grandchildren.Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Gentry Morrison Beacon Hill Chapel. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church at the Mall. Memorials may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 1440 W. Washington Blvd., Chicago, IL 60607.
