QUINN, Wayne H. Peacefully, on Sunday, January 11, 2004 after a short battle with melanoma at the WRHC-Metropolitan Campus. Adoring husband to Wynn (Regier). Loving father to Tim (Boston, MA.), Brian and Carol (Plymouth, MI.), and Maureen (Windsor). Dearest and special papa to Brenna and Steven (Plymouth). Dear brother of Joan and husband Thomas Quinn, of Texas; and Elaine and husband Gerald Misteravich, of Mich. Dear brother-in-law of Rose and Len Jennings, Vivian Potier, Bob and Pat Regier, Lorne and Bernie Regier, Al and Doris Regier, all of the Windsor area; Warren and Helen Regier, Marcella Overholt, Blanche and Mel Overholt, and Ursula Regier, all of the Zurich area and will remembered by many nieces and nephews. Wayne retired from CSX Corp. Railroad where he worked for 30 years. He was a member of the Detroit and Windsor Traffic Clubs and the St. Rita's Alumni. He was active at St. Rose Parish and was a reader for 40 years. Visiting Wednesday, from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers Wednesday at 4 p.m. The funeral will be held on Thursday, January 15, at 10:15 a.m. from The Marcotte Funeral Home, Tecumseh (735-2830), 12105 Tecumseh Rd. Tecumseh to St. Rose de Lima Church (891 St. Rose Ave., Windsor) for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Fr. Dino Salvador will be the celebrant. An interment will take place on Friday at St. Boniface Cemetery, Zurich. As your expression of sympathy, a donation to the Windsor Regional Hospital Palliative Care or to the St. Rose Building Fund would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Wayne Quinn in the Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 26, 2004. All are welcome.
