FORT KENT - Wayne Henderson, 61 died peacefully at his residence, Jan. 10, 2012, surrounded by his family. Wayne was born Feb. 23, 1950, in Rangeley, the stepson of George Henderson and the son of Clydis (Ross) Henderson. He will be remembered as an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoying the outdoors and tying flies as a favorite pastime. Wayne especially enjoyed cooking frenchtoast for his grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Wanda (Saucier) Henderson of Fort Kent; his daughter, Crystal and her husband, Shawn Jandreau, of Fort Kent; his son, Curtis and his wife, Lisa Henderson, of Gray; six grandchildren, Colby, Caleb, Camden and Shaylle Jandreau, Anna and Makayla Henderson; five siblings, William and his wife, Alison Henderson, of Ashland City, Ky., Mary Jane and her husband, Brad Bond, of East Livermore, Wendell Henderson, Eric and his wife, Margaret Henderson, and Susie and her husband, Paul Gaudet, all of Dixfield; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Wayne was predeceased by one nephew, Ean. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday until time of service at Daigle Funeral Home, Fort Kent. A Mass of Christian burial with full military honors will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Fort Kent. Spring burial will be held May 15, in the parish cemetery.
