Warren Glenn Moore, 78, passed away in his home on Tuesday, July 28, 2009. He was born in Pontiac, Mich., on October 19, 1930. Warren was a retired meat cutter. On March 27, 1950, in Conway, Ark., he was united in marriage to Mary L. (Lanza) Moore. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish, Lion's Club, and Saddle Club. He enjoyed horseback riding, hunting and reading western books to name a few. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Ruby Moore; and his brother, Charles W. Moore. He is survived by his wife, Mary L. (Lanza) Moore; children and their spouses, Mary Lou Webb, Glenn Moore, Darrel Moore and Scott Moore; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister Dottie Peterson. Funeral services will be held in Greenlawn Funeral Home East at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2009. Burial will follow in Rivermonte Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2009, in the funeral home. The family suggests memorial donations be made to St. Jude, The Kitchen, or the Humane Society.
