Johnson, Warren E.Newark Valley: Warren E. Johnson, age 75, died April 11, 2013 following a courageous fight with cancer. He was born to Marion Reese and Theodore Johnson on February 4, 1938, who predeceased him. He is survived by his daughters, Kelly (& Tracy) Floyd of NC and Julie (& Ray) Marquez, of NJ. In addition to his daughters, Warren is survived by three grandchildren: Eric & Ryan Floyd; Chloe Marquez as well as his brother Gary (Fay) Johnson; special nephews Mark Johnson & Brian (Debbie) Johnson; and ex-wife and friend Colleen Eddy. We are grateful to all who assisted in enabling him to stay at the farm that he loved until his final weeks. Warren was born and lived on the family farm for all of his 75 years. He loved being a farmer and taking care of the land and animals. In his final year he found great comfort from his horses. We especially thank Mark Johnson, his nephew, for assisting with this and always being there for Warren. In honor of his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. The family requests no flowers. If you wish, make a donation to your local SPCA in remembrance of Warren. After I'm Gone: Burn what is left of me and scatter the ashes to the winds to help the crops grow. If you must bury something let it be my faults, my weaknesses and all prejudice against my fellow man. Give my sins to the Devil; give my soul to God. If, by chance, you wish to remember me, do it with a kind deed or word to someone who needs you. If you do all I have asked, I will live forever. When tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart. For every time you think of me, I'm right here in your heart.
